Data & deletion

Your photos live only on your device — our servers never store them, so photo deletion is always in your hands. Everything else — your skin signals, profile, and account — can be deleted inside the app in about ten seconds, or by emailing us.
01What Porio holds about you
- Face photos: saved on your device only, as a dated photo timeline. Our servers analyse each photo transiently and immediately discard it — nothing to delete on our side.
- Skin signals & scan history: your six skin signals per scan, linked to a pseudonymous user ID.
- Skin profile: your onboarding answers (e.g. skin type, goals).
- Routine data: stored on your device; removed when you delete the app or your account.
- Account data: only if you signed in with Apple or Google — your email and sign-in identifier.
- Subscription metadata: purchase status via the app stores and RevenueCat (never card details).
- Waitlist email: only if you joined the website waitlist.
02Delete in the app (fastest)
Open Porio and go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes:
- your scan history and skin signals,
- your skin profile and preferences,
- your account and sign-in link (if you signed in), and
- all data on your device, including your photo timeline.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You can also choose Settings → Delete scan history to clear past scans and their photos while keeping your account.
03Delete by request
Can't access the app? Email porio.app@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data". If you joined the waitlist, email from the address you'd like removed. We confirm and complete deletion within 30 days.
04What may be retained
After deletion we may retain limited records only where the law requires it (for example, transaction records for tax purposes held by the app stores) and aggregated diagnostics that can no longer identify you.
