TREND VS RECENT SCANS
Texture slipped because exfoliating was skipped twice this week. Nothing new to buy — just the lactic acid, Tue and Fri, as planned.
How it works
From selfie to routine in under a minute.
Snap a selfie
Centre your face in good light. One photo is all Porio needs — no account, no sign-up wall. A one-minute setup tunes your routine to your skin and shelf, then you scan.
AI reads your skin
Porio reads six visible signals — hydration, blemishes, texture, pores, redness and dark spots — and flags anything that looks like one for a dermatologist, not an app.
Get an honest routine
A short, effective routine by ingredient and category — what to look for, what to avoid, and how often to use it. We never name or push products.
What you get
Built to be useful, not to sell you serums.
Signals, not fake scores
Six skin signals in clear five-step bands — from poor to great — never made-up percentages designed to look precise.
Ask anything about your read
A cosmetic-only AI coach that knows your scans and shelf — ask it anything about your routine. It stays in its lane and points you to a dermatologist for anything medical.
Ingredients, not brands
Guidance by ingredient and category — what to look for at any budget, what to avoid, and how to use it. No named products, ever, so the advice can’t be bought.
A routine that sticks
A simple AM/PM tracker built around your read — plus a photo timeline of your scans, saved privately on your device, so you can see your skin change date by date.
Knows its limits
Anything that looks medical is flagged to see a dermatologist. Porio is a beauty observation, not a diagnosis.
Private by design
You start anonymous — no sign-up wall. Your photos live only on your phone; our servers read them, return your signals, and immediately discard them. Never stored by us, never used to train AI, never sold.
Why Porio
Most skincare apps are selling something. We aren't.
Porio exists to tell you the truth about your skin and stop there. The advice is honest by design, whether that's from your read or from the coach — never padded to sell you more. That's also why the only way Porio makes money is a small subscription: you're the customer, never the product.
- Affiliate links or kickbacks
- Fake precision — bands, not bogus percentages
- Named products or sponsored picks
- Upsell funnels or 9-step routines
- Photos stored, shared, or trained on
- Ads, tracking, or selling your data
FAQ
The honest answers, before you ask.
The things people quietly wonder about an AI skin app — accuracy, privacy, and whether we're just here to sell you serums.
Yes — within honest limits. Porio reads visible signals: hydration, blemishes, texture, pores, redness and dark spots, reported in clear bands rather than made-up percentages. Lighting and camera quality affect any photo-based read, which is why we coach you on capture and show bands instead of false precision. Think sharp second opinion — not a clinical machine. Every piece of guidance is grounded in government health services and dermatology associations — see our sources.
Your photos are saved only on your device, so you can look back at them by date. For each scan, the photo is sent securely to our backend, analysed, and immediately discarded — our servers never store it, never sell it, and never use it to train AI models. You stay anonymous by default, because Porio doesn't even ask you to sign up. Nothing about your skin is stored on our servers — your results and history live on your phone. Our backend keeps only anonymous usage records (timings and counts, never images or skin data). Full details in our Privacy Policy.
The opposite — Porio never names products at all. You get guidance by ingredient and category: what to look for and what to avoid, at any budget. There are no affiliate links and no brand deals, so the advice has nothing to gain from your spending.
Most “free” apps make their money by upselling products or monetising your data. Porio doesn't — no ads, no kickbacks, no agenda. You pay a small subscription for an honest read and a coach that answers to you, not to a sponsor.
Your first scan is free, and you keep its overall score. Premium unlocks the full per-signal read, your routine, trends over time, and the coach — plus a few scans a day instead of just the one. No ads either way, and you can cancel anytime.
Porio reads what it actually sees on your skin and adapts across tones, types, and ages. And anything that looks medical, it flags for a dermatologist instead of guessing.
No. Porio provides a beauty observation, not a medical diagnosis, and it isn't designed to detect skin cancer or any other condition. For anything new, changing, painful, or worrying, see a doctor.
